Besides writing and working toward her graduate degree, Laurel is involved in several film and theater groups in Los Angeles, has judged screenwriting contests, and is working with two musicians on a combination mockmentary / music video parody. She's also taught as an adjunct faculty member in Santa Barbara County: film and TV production, film history, and screenwriting.
